Don’t wait until the last minute! 
Apply when broadleaf weeds are actively growing in spring or early fall. You do not want to apply the weed & feed during extreme heat or drought (summer months). Mow your lawn to a normal height and water thoroughly 1-2 days before application. Apply to moist grass. 

Did you know? 
1. Weed and feed products must stick to the leaves of the weeds in order to be most effective. In order for them to stick they require moisture. This is why the right time to apply granular products is in the early morning when there is dew on the lawn—grass needs to be wet! 

2. Apply when the air is calm to ensure uniform coverage and avoid spreading granules into flowers, vegetables, and ornamental shrubbery. 

3. Do not apply to newly seeded grasses until well established or after the third mowing.
